I wanted to have the model of a human figure, for use in future projects. I started this with a 3D stick figure in mind, but I realized that an artist’s manikin would be better for what I want to do, and it’s still fairly simple. After modeling this figure, I rigged it to an armature so it would be fully pose-able. This was an interesting challenge, as most anatomical joints have unique restraints (for example, a wrist itself cannot twist, instead the whole forearm twists). I wanted to make an animated cartoon with this character in the future, so I gave it a cell-shaded texture. I arranged some mild poses and saved some renders.
